Weatherproof Composite. Built To Last.

Andrea Cozart-Lundin · Founder

BUILDER FIRST.
FOUNDER NOW.

State of Stick did not appear overnight. It grew from years of learning how hardware, software, fabrication, and digital experiences could work together.

Learning by building

A MULTIDISCIPLINARY PATH.

DronesController systemsEmbedded electronicsWeb developmentAutomationInteractive mediaLaser fabricationProduct design

Long before State of Stick, Andrea spent years building and experimenting with drones, remote-control and controller-based systems, electronics, web experiences, automation, interactive media, and custom fabrication.

Those projects built practical experience across hardware, software, control systems, production, and problem-solving. The connected-product platform is a natural progression of those disciplines—not proof of any single legal claim.

2019

An independent manufacturing foundation

After being laid off, Andrea invested in laser equipment and expanded independent fabrication and creative-production capabilities. This period belongs to the broader founder story. It was not yet State of Stick.

2023

Material experimentation

Andrea purchased a specialized material and began learning what could be made from it. The work centered on physical forms, production techniques, fabrication, and possible branded products—not initially on NFC or software.

Later

A commercial turning point

A later pitch meeting with Coleen at Fanatics helped clarify that the physical-product concept could become a focused commercial platform. State of Stick was established after that meeting. The exact meeting and founding dates remain subject to verification from records.

Next

The connected layer

As the physical concept evolved, Andrea recognized that NFC, authentication, dynamic destinations, analytics, registration, and related capabilities could extend the usefulness of each product. Bluetooth and other technologies should be described only to the extent actually developed, tested, or planned.

2025

TechFlunky Labs, LLC

TechFlunky Labs was established as Andrea's independent business. State of Stick is being developed within that company structure, subject to formal ownership and chain-of-title review. It is not presented as a Cozyartz Media Group project or company.

Why tell the story

To explain how the work developed and why careful documentation matters to an independent founder.

What the story does not do

It does not prove patentability, priority, ownership, infringement, misappropriation, or wrongdoing. Those questions depend on evidence, agreements, law, and qualified review.

BUILDING FORWARD.

The goal is to turn years of multidisciplinary building into a responsible, durable business—one prepared to work credibly with customers, counsel, partners, and investors.
