Connected packaging prototype collaboration

A BOTTLE WITH A STORY THAT CONTINUES.

One handcrafted object demonstrates three product futures: a living brand story, an individually numbered edition, or a securely verified release—each able to keep serving the customer and retailer after the sale.

01 / The idea

PRINT CAN NAME THE PRODUCT.
THE OBJECT CAN DO MORE.

Custom Cauldron gave us a product worth slowing down for. We gave the package somewhere for its story to live.

The dimensional emblem creates the moment of curiosity. The connected layer carries the composition, process, batch record, future release path, and—when the product warrants it—individual identity and authorization.

03 / Choose the right StickLink configuration

SAME OBJECT.
THREE LEVELS OF IDENTITY.

This is a configuration comparison. Choose a level below and watch the same product record change. The physical bottle can look the same; the identity and proof behind it become more specific.

What you are looking at

Left: what that StickLink configuration is designed to do.

Right: the customer-facing record that opens on the phone.

04 / Bottle biography

THE PROCESS BECOMES PART OF THE PRODUCT.

A conventional label runs out of room. A persistent product record can reveal the story in layers.

  1. 01

    Composition

Frankincense and copal resins establish the aromatic foundation.

  2. 02

    Extraction

The botanical materials begin a slow neutral-grain-spirit extraction.

  3. 03

    Palo Santo

Wood is introduced to deepen the dry, warm finish.

  4. 04

    Rest

The preparation rests for approximately one month while the profile develops.

  5. 05

    Filter + bottle

The finished preparation is filtered, bottled, and given a persistent product record.

Prototype narrative based on the maker’s process. Exact ingredient varieties, sourcing claims, dates, and production records are confirmed before a commercial release goes live.

05 / Persistent Retail™

THE PRODUCT LEAVES THE STORE.
THE RELATIONSHIP DOESN'T.

Persistent Retail turns a physical product into a useful customer touchpoint throughout ownership.

The technology is not the hero. The relationship is. The object earns attention, the connected destination gives the customer a useful next step, and first-party reporting helps the retailer understand what worked.

01

Discover

The bottle and emblem earn attention on the shelf or tasting counter.

02

Purchase

The customer leaves with the product and its connected doorway.

03

Use

The bottle opens the story, guidance, pairings, care, or maker notes at home.

04

Return

Reorders, gifts, events, seasonal releases, and store visits appear at the right moment.

05

Learn

The retailer sees which products and next steps earned intentional engagement.

Illustrative specialty-retail example

WHAT THIS COULD LOOK LIKE FOR A RETAILER SUCH AS OLD WORLD OLIVE CO.

A customer discovers a connected bottle in the store. At home, that same bottle can open pairings and recipes. When it is time to buy again, the experience can surface a reorder, gift set, private tasting, class, or seasonal release—bringing the retailer's expertise back into the moment it matters.
